Big 12 Men's Basketball Seeding Scenarios

This is from the Big 12 home office. Here's what we know are confirmed seeds for the Big 12 men's basketball tournament:

Kansas is No. 1, Nebraska No. 8, Baylor No. 9 and Colorado No. 12. The winner of Iowa State and Texas Tech is the No. 10 seed and the loser is the No. 11 seed.


Here are the scenarios:

• If Missouri and Oklahoma win (or both lose): Missouri No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3

• If Missouri wins and Oklahoma loses: Missouri No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3

• If Missouri loses and Oklahoma wins: Oklahoma No. 2, Missouri No.3

• If Texas and Oklahoma State win: Texas No. 4, Oklahoma State No. 5

• If Texas and Oklahoma State lose, but K-State and A&M win: K-State No. 4, Texas No. 5, Texas A&M No. 6, Oklahoma State No. 7

• If Texas, OSU and A&M lose, but K-State wins: K-State No. 4, Texas No. 5, Oklahoma State No. 6

• If Texas, OSU, Texas A&M and Kansas State lose: Texas No. 4, Oklahoma State No. 5

• If Texas, OSU and Kansas State lose but Texas A&M wins: Texas No. 4, Texas A&M No. 5, Oklahoma State No. 6
